Does this look like a site for travelers

This throwback to the 1990 s makes for great comedy writing, but a terrible travel guide.

We half expected to see a clip art .gif of a construction sign blinking Site Under Maintenance in this homage to Geocities chic. The links are all bundled into massive databases that are impossible to navigate and the travel reviews are buried deeper still.

Just having a list of hundreds of destinations doesn t make for a good travel guide. There needs to be original content, which this site has none of.

Quality and quantity of images Are there enough images on the site to whet your appetite and are they of a decent quality? Can you load your own?.

Even a few small thumbnails could have gone a long way towards making this travel guide a little easier on the eyes.

What else can I do here? We gave extra points to sites with travel videos, chat rooms, blogs, Facebook, mobile and audio..

Somewhere in this maze of links and pop-ups was a video section, although by our second visit to the site, we couldn t find it again. It would be better to just stick to YouTube.

Surprisingly, there wasn t a flashing hit counter at the bottom of the page, but we assume that this site can t get more than 20 hits a year, so there isn t much purpose for a community section, is there

What additional services does the guide offer? Do they offer booking services, or are they affiliated with any bookers so that you can get a good deal?.

All the travel services linked, like flights and hotel bookings, are through the World Choice Travel engine, which has proven itself to be difficult to use and unreliable in the past.
