How does the site look? This parameter evaluates the overall design and gives extra points for any innovative techniques. .

Jumping on the eco bandwagon

They don t do an excellent job of being an eco-info site or a travel network. All in all pretty disappointing.

The overall design was pretty overall we felt it was a bit overkill on the eco/green theme but to be fair, that is its purpose

How helpful is the content? Are there plenty of quality posts and reviews from members on the best places they have been, and where to avoid? .

There is a lot of content. Most of it we felt was too wordy and dragged on. There is also a lot of repeating material. Overall, it could have been better balanced to be a stronger travel network.

Who?s blogging? How many blogs are on the network, how up to date are they and are they any good?.

They don t allow for personal blogging and they don t have their own blog either.

Forum Participants How active is the forum? Are there regular posts, on a range of topics? .

There is a forum here but we most of the posts were really old almost 6 months!

Photo stalking opportunity What are the photo loading options like, and more importantly, are there plenty of photos from others that you can check out to get inspired? .

They usually had one small photo to go long with every article. Not too bad, but many times more pictures would have been more helpful.

Orientate yourself What mapping facilities does the network provide? Can you plan your route, let friends follow you on your way or check out where friends are headed? .

There were maps but it wasn t an integral part of each location description. You can search via a world map but if you see a review you can t always find it immediately on a map.

What are the multimedia options available? Can you share your travelling videos and how can you see others?.

Considering that you can t pollute the internet from having too many videos, podcasts, interactive chat, etc., we wonder why this online social network doesn t have any of the above!

Information sharing One of the best parts of a travel network is that it lets you share your top find with others. Are there plenty of links to great places on the site? .

They didn t have many helpful links when it came to other travel networks but they did have helpful eco links.
