Familytravelnetwork.com is nation's oldest and most comprehensive free online site devoted exclusively to family trips. We like to add that they haven't updated their site in over a decade and are now just the nations oldest looking .

Outdated and ugly!

This site has a lot of potential but it s so outdated and the design is ugly and the navigation is terrible! Time for a new look Family Travel Network.com!

The design is as bland as tofu - it had a lot of nutritious elements but it wasn't flavored well. It was also way too cluttered.

How helpful is the content? Are there plenty of quality posts and reviews from members on the best places they have been, and where to avoid? .

The content isn't terrible but it lacks organization, which made the site frustrating to spend any length of time on.

While there is place for contribution on this travel network, there wasn't the option for blogging.

This travel network does have an active message board but we felt that the layout was archaic and considering the technology out there today it could have been a lot more appealing.

There were not a lot of images and most seem to be taken from a photo stock company and nothing really stood out as particularly impressive or memorable.

They don't have map functions, which was quite annoying at times.

This site, unlike other online social networks for travel wasn t very sophisticated when it came to multimedia options. The site looks like it hasn t been updated in about 10 years.
